This is part two of our three-part early-2011 Samsung monitor preview that began on Monday.

During Samsung's CES press conference, the company debuted a product difficult for me to wrap my head around from the remote vantage of a stage demo. It wasn't until I actually saw the device running at Samsung's booth that I understood what the company was going for.

Samsung arrives at Central Station

LAS VEGAS--Sure, you love using your laptop when it's on your lap. I mean, that's what it's designed for, but when you take your laptop to your desk, you don't have quite the same experience as using a full-fledged desktop PC.

Depending on the height of the desk, the laptop keyboard can be awkward to use, and don't get me started on that fickle touch pad.
