Mercedes debuts new, efficient, four-cylinder E-Class models

Mercedes-Benz has announced the addition of new four-cylinder E 200 CDI and CGI BlueEfficiency models to the European 2010 E-Class lineup.

The thrifty E 200 CDI is powered by a common-rail, direct-injected, 2.1-liter, diesel engine that outputs 136-horsepower and a staggering 365 pound-feet of torque. Zero to 62 mph happens in a decent 10.2 seconds, but what's most impressive is the 45.2 mpg that it averages while doing so.

Mercedes-Benz E-Class gets sexier coupe model

Mercedes-Benz has revealed photos of the all-new Mercedes-Benz coupe just three months after the reveal of the sedan version. The Coupe is set to bow at the 2009 Geneva auto show.

The E-Class coupe is positioned to be a sort of jack-of-all-trades sports coupe with an initial line-up of five engines, three suspension variants, a wide choice of colors, six different wheel/tire combinations, and many optional extras.

ConceptFascination hints at future of Mercedes E-Class

Fresh on the heels of the reveal of the C250 BlueEfficiency, Mercedes gives us a peek at the future of the E-Class with the ConceptFascination. As the name indicates, we are only looking at a concept.
