One item for sale is the stained pair of shorts worn by Jovovich in "Resident Evil: Extinction." They can be yours for the low, low price of $2,999.99.

Each of the six lamps in the collection has an ear-catching name like Alien Nation and Forbidden Planet. LOS ANGELES--An earth-shaking and in-depth demo of Halo 4 opened up Microsoft's annual E3 Xbox 360 media briefing today, getting the thousands on hand worked up about the upcoming blockbuster. But beyond that, Microsoft had little to sustain the excitement.

For years, the video game press has flocked dutifully to Microsoft's shindig, which traditionally gets the honor of kicking off E3 week here, and setting the bar that rivals Sony and Nintendo have to try to jump at their own mega-briefings. I play a lot of video games. I have a Windows gaming rig and an Xbox 360, and my iOS devices are filled with games from every genre. I would consider myself a fairly skilled gamer, but there are certain types of games designed to challenge even the most seasoned fans.

Back in January, I wrote a similar post called "Games that make you rage on iOS." One of the games I'm focusing on today is the sequel to a game I wrote about then, but it definitely hasn't lost its rage-inducing qualities.

It's important to note that for this collection I recommend grabbing the iPad versions of the games in question (if you own an iPad) because when you play a hard game, you want any advantage you can get and the iPad's larger screen gives you a little more room to work with. Capcom has revised the release date for Resident Evil 6 from November 20 to October 2.

The new, earlier date was announced at Capcom's annual Captivate showcase event, where executive producer Hiroyuki Kobayashi said the decision was based on positive fan reaction to January's announcement trailer for the game, in which the originally intended November release date was revealed.

The enthusiastic reception for the trailer made Capcom want to get the game into players' hands earlier, says Kobayashi-san, so it proposed to the development team the idea of bringing the game out ahead of the original schedule. Capcom has about 600 people working on Resident Evil 6, it says, with 150 of those in-house staff.
