NirSoft's FavoritesView is a neat bit of freeware that lets you save, edit, and access your Internet Explorer Favorites and Mozilla Firefox Bookmarks from one compact, customizable interface. You can choose your target folders and open Web pages directly from its toolbar. It can find duplicates and create HTML reports. Unfortunately, it doesn't (yet) accommodate Chrome, Opera, Safari, or any of the other other browsers.

The majority of Windows news over the past week rests largely on Mozilla's shoulders. Namely, Mozilla released Firefox 4 beta 10. With plenty of competitors breathing down its neck--Microsoft's IE9 in particular--the pressure has been on the publisher to fix the final bugs that lie in the way of a Firefox 4 release. Although it duplicates existing Windows' functionality, this effective tool shuts down processes with ease.

AutoSysBot Process Terminator has a sparse, but functional, interface that greatly resembles Windows Task Manager. The program functions much like the default Windows program as well.
