PowerLogix makes statement on CPU Director and Mac OS X 10.4.7 PowerPC upgrade card manufacturer PowerLogix has issued a statement regarding the status of CPU Director -- its software for controlling various aspects said upgrade cards -- and the utility's compatibility with Mac OS X 10.4.7.

The company states:

External iSight cameras not available in Europe through Apple It appears that European Apple stores (both online and retail) have stopped selling external iSights.

MacFixIt reader Olaf writes:

"iSight cameras are no longer available officially in Europe (and haven't been for over a month now), apparently because some of their components contravene the European Hazardous Materials Act (according to someone at the Apple Store). You can still get them over eBay and import them privately from North America, but Apple no longer sells them."
