Words With Friends can now be played on Facebook, the game's publisher, Zynga, announced today.

Originally made available in 2009, Words With Friends has been a hit among iOS- and Android-device users. The game resembles Scrabble by requiring users to form words on a board complete with boxes for double and triple-score letters and words. The game adds some social flair by letting players take on friends from their respective devices. According to the Words With Friends listing in Apple's App Store, the game has more than 20 million players around the globe.

Who can afford the carbon-friendly skies?

Directflights.com is now offering a search engine for finding the cheapest carbon-friendly flights between two destinations, the company announced today.

The tool was developed in conjunction with The Carbon Consultancy, a British company that offers reports on emissions data and offset procurement information for travel industry companies.

It offers to show international flights, as well as those contained within the U.K. and Europe, or contained within the U.S., among other places. Flights can be viewed by cheapest only, or by most carbon-friendly with a choice to see flights in different currency options.

eBay is pulling $200 million out of its wallet for brands4friends, a fashion daily-deals site based in Berlin.

The acquisition, announced today, is designed to build up the auction site's reputation as a source for clothing, shoes, and accessories among European buyers.

As Germany's largest online shopping club, brands4friends offers daily deals to site subscribers and features about 600 brands, including Buffalo, Calvin Klein, and Diesel.
