If you were hoping to see HBO's content show up on Netflix's streaming service, things aren't looking too good for you.
In an interview with Bloomberg, HBO Co-President Eric Kessler went on the record as saying "there is a value in exclusivity," and that people would "pay a premium" for it.

Netflix on Tuesday announced a multiyear deal with pay-TV provider EPIX that will add titles from Lionsgate, MGM, and Paramount--the three studios that jointly own EPIX.
The arrangement, according to Netflix spokesperson Steve Swayse, gives Netflix the rights to stream movies from these studies 90 days after they debut on premium and pay-TV services. Titles from these studios will be available starting September 1.

Blockbuster has decided to take on GameFly by offering over 3,000 video games in its By Mail offering.
According to Blockbuster, its mail service will now offer games for every major console, including the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Nintendo Wii, as well as titles from the original Xbox and the PlayStation 2.
