Garmin-Asus A10 aims to guide pedestrians

Garmin-Asus is making good on its commitment to Android as the company introduced a new Android device on Wednesday called the A10.

Optimized for pedestrian navigation, the A10 features a 3.2-inch HVGA touch screen, a digital compass, also offers voice-guided directions. All maps are preloaded on the device, but you'll also have the option of downloading Garmin's cityXplorer maps that let you plan routes using transit options such as bus and subway systems. New Nuvi 3700 series is Garmin's thinnest yet

Garmin has announced the next generation of its Nuvi line of GPS devices, the Garmin Nuvi 3700 series. Garmin set out to make the 3700 series its thinnest ever, measuring just under 8.95mm thick. For comparison's sake, the iPhone 3GS is 12.3mm thick.

The 3700 series takes a few cues from the current crop of touch-screen smartphones, with which it will inevitably have to compete.
