Microsoft is targeting a host of improvements for SkyDrive, potentially giving iCloud and similar services some healthy competition.

Google is reportedly getting ready to take on Dropbox with its own cloud-based storage service.

The service--called Drive--is in response to the growing use of mobile devices to access personal files stored on the Internet, according to a Wall Street Journal report that cites unidentified people familiar with the matter.
