MS Word Building Blocks outshine AutoText

Microsoft Word's AutoText feature got a serious face-lift with the debut of Building Blocks in Word 2007 and 2010. (The Microsoft Office Support site offers a basic primer on creating and using Word 2003's AutoText feature.)

In a nutshell, you create AutoText entries by selecting the material you want to reuse and clicking Insert > AutoText > New (or simply press Alt-F3). The bottom line: Norton Internet Security 2011 maintains its recent strong performance record and introduces some useful new features in the latest version, making it one of the top Internet security suites available.

Google services reported down in China

Several of Google's Web services in mainland China were reported as fully blocked on Thursday including Web search, YouTube, Ads, and Blogger. Those reports turned out to be incorrect due to misinformation from Google's Mainland China service availability chart. Other services, including Google Images, News, Docs, and Groups were also misreported as "partially blocked."
