A Wii game for swingers? No, really

Thin is the line between party and sex party.

A few more drinks, a little more Prince, and suddenly what started out as innocent suburban fun turns into debauchery that will be gossiped about for years to come.

The makers of a new game for Wii and PS3 called "We Dare" seem to want to help you cross that line. Created by Ubisoft, "We Dare" is, according to Kotaku, a game that may swiftly replace social icebreakers like the key party as the favored Friday night couple-relaxing entertainment in your subdivision.

While I wouldn't dream of encouraging such socially divisive behavior, the makers of "We Dare" would like to offer you about 35 "fun and flirtatious" games that will help you relax in the company of Mrs. Galloway from number 47. And her slightly creepy husband who always wears a check cardigan.

The "We Dare" trailer is already enjoying so many parody versions posted to YouTube that Ubisoft appears to be scrambling to protect its behind--I mean, copyright (YouTube has already yanked a few of the clips).

Some people, though, will be less concerned with Ubisoft's copyright and more concerned about how uber-titillation can make their weekends complete.… Read more

The Facebook Breakup Notifier: Stalk someone you like

Has Christine dumped him yet? He looked like a freak. But, then again, there always Lucretia. Or Marianna. Or Jeffrey. Are they free yet?

It's very hard to keep up with the relationship status of those whom you'd like to get to know better, as in a whole lot better. This is made even more difficult if you happen to have thousands of Facebook friends and at least 20 people of your target sex (or sexes) whose smell you would like to become familiar with.

Developer Dan Loewenherz knows exactly how you feel. That's why he has … Read more

How expert uses Skype to help men attract women

It's almost a week since Valentine's Day and there will be many men who still haven't gotten over what happened on Monday.

Somehow, their date didn't go as planned. Somehow, their date went home, as wasn't planned. Somehow, they are beneath the dumps and desperate for help.

Perhaps, then, they should fire up Skype and talk to Marni Kinrys.

Kinrys is every man's wing girl. She's a wing girl with a method. She calls it the Wing Girl Method. And a highly technological method it is.

The Wing Girl's purpose in life … Read more

New site measures your shagability

I am sure that, like me, you have already bought your flowers and used a very special body wash.

However, how can you be sure that your Valentine's Day--or any other date night--will go off with an appropriate timbre?

Please, then, go down on your knees and give thanks to Shagscore.com. Of all the days in the world, Shagscore decided to launch today, so that your Valentine's Day can be more of a sure thing.

Teacher who blogged about her stripping quits

We live in a world of free expression. It's just that sometimes we pay a large price for it.

I give you--for she is now free to express herself however she wants--Melissa Petro.

Petro was an elementary school teacher in the Bronx. She taught art. And it just so happened she used to be paid for performance art. Yes, Petro used to be a stripper and a prostitute.

You can imagine that, when her school found out, it wasn't overcome with pleasure. Indeed, it suspended her, which, according to CBS New York, drove her to a resigned state. … Read more

Study: Facebook replacing Craigslist for prostitutes

When Craigslist withdrew from the adult services business last year, some wondered whether the prostitution business would be driven to less obvious and, perhaps, more dangerous places.

However, a Columbia University professor is suggesting that the business might have gravitated to somewhere even more obvious: Facebook.

Sociology professor Sudhir Venkatesh published the results of his work among New York prostitutes on Wired. And it makes for a stimulating insight into how technology is influencing the prostitution business.

Technology seems to have made men's behavior suddenly sophisticated.

"No self-respecting cosmopolitan man looking for an evening of companionship is going … Read more

Politician, caught surfing escort site, blames iPad

We can all recognize that being a politician is largely boring.

Equally, we can all recognize that the iPad exists in order to make our lives a little less boring.

So how can we possibly criticize Italian politician Simeone Di Cagno Abbrescia, who happened to have been sitting in parliament with a few scantily clad ladies on the desk in front of him? Well, to be precise, on the iPad in front of him.

The Telegraph reports that Abbrescia didn't deny the images on his iPad were, indeed, images of ladies who were scantily clad. The paper also reports that he didn't deny that the ladies who were scantily clad were scantily clad on an escort site.

Indeed, the magazine Oggi helpfully identified two of the ladies as Dollyy [sic] and Daisy, and mentioned consultation fees of 400 euros per hour, or the bargain price of 2,500 euros for a weekend.

Abbrescia, however, would like people to understand that he in no way premeditated his viewing of Daisy, or for that matter, of Dollyy. He reportedly said he simply had difficulty getting used to his iPad.… Read more

Hacking Kinect: Setting sci-fi in motion

In the two-plus months since the creation of open-source drivers for Microsoft's Kinect made it possible to hack the popular motion controller, the device has been used as a sophisticated piano, to add voice control to popular video games, to create 3D renderings of a car's path, and even for a demo of soft-core porn.

Indeed, the open-source tools have snatched control of the device from Microsoft's proprietary hands, and each new day sees the emergence of some new kind of Kinect hack. But as the community of techies investing time in these types of imaginative--and unauthorized--works … Read more

CES: Christian gaming site offers morality scores

As the doors to CES swung open, I rushed in looking for a technology that would save me, hopefully, from myself.

I thought I had found it within seconds.

For there was a large image of Jesus Christ who looked like he was gaming. I pushed past the peddlers and the half-naked dancing girls and headed straight to GameChurch.com's booth.

GameChurch's Doug Christensen was quick to anoint me with his pitch. He explained that GameChurch was a place for Christian gamers to get together and be themselves. Then he told me that the site reviews games and … Read more
