Nikon's really going all out with the newest addition to its P series of compact cameras for amateur shooters. The Coolpix P6000, which replaces last year's P5100, is stuffed full of interesting features, like built-in GPS, an Ethernet connection, wireless flash, and a new Vista-compatible raw format. I'm a big proponent of in-camera GPS. Add-on solutions, at least from what I've seen on consumer models, can't give you an on-camera interface, which makes them too hard to configure. The Coolpix S210 presents the least expensive of the Coolpix S-cameras. It fits an 8-megapixel sensor and a 3x optical zoom lens into a 3/4-inch-thick aluminum body, making it very pocket-friendly. Amateur photographers and style-minded snapshooters aren't the only ones who can get excited at Nikon's recent camera announcements. The company also unveiled two new additions to its budget-priced Coolpix L-series: the Coolpix L14 and L15.
