Sony's PlayStation 4 controller, the DualShock 4, could have taken a few cues from Microsoft's Xbox 360 controller, the company revealed in a recent interview.
Before Sony settled on the DualShock 4 controller, the company flirted with the idea of moving the left analog stick to mimic the design of the Xbox 360 controller, according to Sony product planning manager Toshimasa Aoki.
Whenever I listen to nature, it always tells me: "I'm getting out of here. This place is going down."
Sony, however, feels that the natural world speaks beauty and even plays it. So it's created a spectacularly peculiar ad in which the music is all played not by ear but by water.
The tune is Pachelbel's Canon, so often heard at weddings and in the brilliant Robert Redford movie "Ordinary People."
The images are very beautiful, but the music is the true point of the sale. Sony would like you to know that … Read more

And NPD Group's recent round of sales stats proves that even one title, albeit one that cost nearly a quarter of a billion dollars to make, can jump-start an entire market.
But an interesting statistic found buried in NPD's report is more telling of how the industry'… Read more
