An article in USA Today is typical of the current positive press that Apple and iMac are receiving. It's really fun to read, especially after several years of such negative press. However, a few articles (such as one in Advertising Age) expressed concern that, despite increased sales, market share continues to decline (the article cited a 2% share in June).
Bucking the market trend, Apple's stock closed at a 52-week high of 39 yesterday.
Slow URL entry glitch Jim Muha found that Communicator 4.5's "auto-complete" function (the feature that fills in suggested URLs as you type) slows down typing of URLs: "It is agonizingly slow to respond and while it is figuring something out I cannot type anything. I mean waiting 10 to 15 seconds after each few letters are typed. A long URL takes over a minute to finish."
