Prolific leaker Evleaks initially posted the above images earlier this month, and then later shared the below shots on Twitter of an apparent new home screen design that borrows from both the tiled look of Windows 8 and the constantly updating "cards" of relevant data that Google Now users will find familiar. … Read more
I've yet to discover a note-taking app that's lasted me more than a week. Typically, I find they require too many taps to create a note or get in and out of an existing note and I soon return to my trusted method of jotting down notes on an actual pad of paper. The thing is, I often wish I had that pad of paper with me instead of my iPhone, which I carry with me pretty much everywhere I go. Thus, I continue on my search for a simple note-taking app.
Quick Note for Mac lets you type a note on your Mac that will almost instantly appear on your iPhone or vice versa. This is a very convenient piece of software that does just what it promises. It syncs your devices automatically through iCloud, so you don't even have to create a new account or log in to the app. As long as both your iPhone and Mac are logged in to the same Apple account, you're ready to share notes.
When you install Quick Note, it opens a small window and you can immediately start typing. This … Read more

Samsung's alleged Galaxy Note 3 Neo or Note 3 Lite may have gotten its first public exposure courtesy of a leaked photo.
Tweeted by Sammobile on Friday, the image reportedly displays the Note 3 Neo side by side with the regular Note 3. The two phones look alike except the Neo is slightly smaller.
Beyond the model number, SM-N750/5, Sammobile's tweet didn't serve up any details about the phone. But a story out Wednesday from blog site GSMArena claimed to have the specs via an unnamed tipster.

Iris scanners can identify a person based on patterns in the eye, and adding one would be a competitive response … Read more
