No potty-mouth lyrics for iTunes Match

I've got 99 problems but a glitch ain't one.

Right now, that's more than Apple can say. The company is trying to fix a glitch that has resulted in iTunes Match filtering out explicit lyrics from what appears to be a small number of rap songs, according to the blog Cult of Mac.

Instead of hearing Kanye West's "Power" or Jay-Z's "Can I Live" the way they were originally recorded, the iTunes Match streaming service will only deliver profanity-free sanitized versions.

How to prevent iTunes Match from exceeding your iPad cell-data limits

Apple's iTunes Match service is running up cell-data charges for some unsuspecting iPad users.

For $25 a year, iTunes Match stores your iTunes library on Apple's iCloud servers and makes them available on any PC, Mac, iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch, and other iOS devices. iTunes updated with minor fixes

Apple's updated iTunes today to 10.5.2 (Windows or Mac), adding fixes for the iTunes Match service and audio distortion issues experienced with some CDs.

The iTunes Match service, launched in version 10.5.1 on November 14, lets users match up music they own with better quality sound files from the iTunes catalog for $24.99 per year.

Hulu's new Face Match: Hey, that's, um, what's-his-name

Ever see an actor on a show and have trouble remembering what that person's name is? If so, Hulu has a feature for you.

Dubbed Face Match, the new technology from Hulu Labs allows users to find out more about an actor on-screen. In order to use the service, Face Match needs to be turned on in the settings for the show or clip. After that, users need only hover the mouse cursor over the person's face and the video will pause, showing details about the actor.
