Just as the economy has dominated headlines in recent weeks, it is likely to be the overriding issue Wednesday night in the third and final debate between John McCain and Barack Obama.

The presidential candidates will take to the podium at 6 p.m. PDT, this time at Hofstra University in Hempstead, N.Y. Moderating the debate--which is to focus in on domestic policy as well as economic matters--will be Bob Schieffer, the chief Washington correspondent for CBS News and host of the show Face the Nation.

With just four weeks to go until Election Day, John McCain and Barack Obama met again Tuesday night in the second of three presidential debates.

Republican John McCain and Democrat Barack Obama will go at it once again Tuesday night during the second official presidential debate, this one in the form of a town hall meeting.

Hulu to stream presidential debates live

Update at 5:55 a.m. PDT: Additional TV stations airing the debate live have been added.

Last year, it was all about "remixing" debate footage. But this year, it's about seeing it live.

Video content hub Hulu has secured the rights to stream the remaining two presidential debates live on the Web. The next debate is set for Tuesday night.

Liberals, conservatives ask for Internet-friendly debates

What can liberal commentator Arianna Huffington and Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich agree on? At the very least, that the presidential debates should be more Internet-friendly.

A diverse group of people and organizations that span the political spectrum have signed a letter calling for presidential candidates John McCain and Barack Obama to commit to more open debates in this election season.
