LG LX600 to debut soon for Sprint?

This squat little device is purportedly the new LG LX600 for Sprint, set to debut some time in the near future. An intrepid user on the SprintUsers.com forum found this image online, and it sure looks convincing to me. The LX600 is actually a clamshell that opens up to reveal a full QWERTY keyboard.

T-Mobile rolling out Sidekick LX software updates this week

Attention Sidekick LX owners, starting this week T-Mobile will start rolling out over-the-air (OTA) updates that will bring some very welcome (and overdue) features to your device.

First announced alongside the Limited Edition Tony Hawk Sidekick LX, the update adds two major capabilities: video record, play, and share; and support for stereo Bluetooth headsets and file transfers. Sprint releases four QChat phones

Starting June 15, Sprint's new Chat will be off and running in more than 40 markets nationwide. For those not in the know, QChat offers push-to-talk (PTT) interoperability between CDMA and iDEN networks for the first time. That means that customers using the new QChat phones will be able to make PTT calls to both Sprint CDMA phones and Nextel iDEN handsets.

Sanyo Katana LX now available

We saw it at CTIA earlier this year, but the Katana LX has now finally launched with Sprint. The sequel to the Katana II, the Katana LX retains the same basic feature set--Bluetooth, VGA camera, and speakerphone--but it has a whole new look. The Katana LX has a much sportier look and compact shape, plus a translucent OLED front display.
