LAS VEGAS--Netgear unveiled at CES 2013 the latest in its VueZone Home Monitoring product line, the two-part VueZone Night Vision Camera (model VZCN2060).

This is a tiny and completely wire-free camera that monitors based on motion detection, both day and night.

The new VueZone Night Vision Camera comes in two parts: an AC-powered infrared lamp and the camera itself. The infrared lamp is required for the camera to work in darkness or low-light conditions. Verizon carries LTE Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 this month

LAS VEGAS--Samsung today announced a 4G LTE Verizon of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet.

Almost identical to the Wi-Fi-only version of the Note 10.1, Verizon's model will arrive this month. Samsung did not make pricing available.

The Note 10.1 tablet comes with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and Samsung's suite of productivity tools, along with the S Pen stylus that's chock full of artsy and productivity tricks.

Dropbox drops onto more Samsung devices

LAS VEGAS--Dropbox and Samsung are expanding their relationship with new integration on existing devices.

Which will be the products to see their photos and videos uploaded through Dropbox? Samsung Smart cameras, Samsung PCs, and the Samsung Galaxy Grand smartphone will all get Dropbox for the first time.

With Dropbox, you can automatically -- and wirelessly -- upload photos and video from a device to your Dropbox account, no cables necessary.

Ecovacs Winbot sucks glass to clean your panes

LAS VEGAS--Robots that wash your windows are another dream of domestic automation, but most early models involve a cumbersome two-part unit that goes on both sides of a pane.

At CES 2013, China-based Ecovacs is showing off a new version of its Winbot window washer, one that doesn't require a magnetic support on the other side of the glass.

Cisco adds 'cloud DVR' to video offering for cable companies

Cisco Systems is adding new capabilities to its video software platform for TV service providers. The new functionality, unveiled at a press conference at the Consumer Electronics Show Monday, will allow cable operators and other TV service providers to offer digital video recording from the cloud.

The new cloud-based DVR feature is part of Cisco's updated Videoscape Unity platform. Samsung rolls out its second-gen Smart Cameras

LAS VEGAS--Just like it did at CES 2012, Samsung's newest compact cameras announced at CES 2013 are ready to shoot and share.

Last week's announcement of the NX300 interchangeable lens camera gave us a look at what wireless features would be coming to Samsung's other Wi-Fi cameras.
