The Nintendo 3DS won't be hitting store shelves this holiday-shopping season, the company said today.
The portable gaming device, which allows people to play games in 3D without 3D glasses, will instead go on sale in Japan on February 26. Nintendo plans to launch the 3DS in the U.S. and European markets in March.
Nintendo said it plans to sell the 3DS in Japan for $300. The company didn't say how much its device will retail for in the U.S. or Europe.
