Wii to get MotionPlus on June 8, Wii Sports sequel on July 26

Nintendo first hinted at a new motion accessory for the Wii remote last July. Just announced this morning, the Wii MotionPlus attachment will officially be released on June 8 for $20. MotionPlus promises a more precise and accurate experience while using the motion controls on the Wii remote. The device attaches into the nunchuk port at the base of the remote and will work with all existing games but most noticeably with the sequel to Wii Sports, Wii Sports Resort.

What was missing from the Nintendo E3 press conference

The Nintendo press conference at E3 2008 just ended and we're left scratching our heads. While we were glad to see the announcement of titles like Star Wars: The Clone Wars, and Rayman Raving Rabbids: TV Party, hardcore gamers loyal to the Nintendo brand were completely left in the dust. Ski.com gives Google Earth a run for its money

Ski slope maps in 2D are often beautifully illustrated works of art that are one part navigation and three parts marketing. The next logical step was to take those same maps and make them 3D, which is what Ski.com has done with its new map explorer.
