Get a Brother wireless all-in-one printer for $49.99

I'll cut right to the chase: the Brother MFC-J270w all-in-one printer has a list price of $99.99, but Best Buy currently has it for $49.99. Shipping adds another $15, but you can save that cost by picking it up in-store. (What you probably can't escape, however, is sales tax.)

Even with those surcharges, that's a downright awesome deal on a device that prints, scans, copies, and faxes, and does so without wires. Yep, like all printers should, the MFC-J270w rocks Wi-Fi.

It also comes with a 1.9-inch color LCD (small, but acceptable for navigating … Read more

CES: Epson unveils two do-it-all printers for small business market

LAS VEGAS--At CES 2011, Epson adds two new all-in-one devices to its WorkForce line of multifunction printers. The WorkForce 840 and the WorkForce 60 are aimed directly at the consumer with a small business at home who needs a device to handle high-output printing, scanning, and fax functions.

First up is the Epson WorkForce 840. Carrying design details over from previous models like the WorkForce 610, the 840 has an impressive 7.8-inch touch-panel display, a two-sided 30-page auto-document feeder for scanning large stacks of paper, a built-in memory card reader on the front with USB-key support, and a 500-sheet … Read more

Get an HP all-in-one printer for $20 shipped

This is just nuts.

Wal-Mart has the HP Deskjet 1050 all-in-one printer for $20 shipped (plus sales tax in most states). Yes, the ink costs more than the printer. Yes, it comes without a USB cable. Should you buy one anyway? Yes!

Update: Sold out!

(Interestingly, Wal-Mart offered this same deal as a Black Friday doorbuster, which further reinforces my belief that Black Friday is a lot of hooey.)

As you may recall, it was just last week that I mentioned a Canon Pixma photo printer for $23 (now expired). That was just a printer. The Deskjet 1050 also scans … Read more

Get an Epson WorkForce 610 all-in-one printer for $43

I've said it before and I'll say it again (and, most likely, again after that): I'll never buy another printer that doesn't have Wi-Fi. I mean, come on. Cables? Really? This is the 21st century, people. Next you'll be telling me I have to use a cable to sync my iPhone. (Wait a minute...)

Today only, Epson has the refurbished WorkForce 610 All-in-One Printer for $43 shipped (when you use coupon code review12, otherwise it is $49). This is an office-caliber multifunction that sold for $200 when it debuted earlier this year.

The WorkForce prints, … Read more

Transformers terrace morphs into swimming pool

Bet my 10-in-1 Swiss Army Knife that we're all multifunctional gadget geeks at heart, particularly when it's oh-so-cleverly conceived. So watch the video of this amazingly cool outdoor terrace, called the Mutandor, which can convert into--ready for this?--a swimming pool.

You'll probably never tire of showing this one off to your guests just for the priceless expressions on their faces. That's not all. Extreme Exclusive has eight other surprises with the Mutandor, which it says can serve as windscreens, a party hall, podium, pool cover, pool with movable pool floor, and more. Customized by Extreme … Read more

Still using a USB cable to connect your printer to your PC? Hey, the 20th century called, and it wants its technology back!

Today only, Best Buy outlet store CowBoom has the HP Photosmart C6380 wireless multifunction printer for $39.99 (plus $5 for shipping). Amazingly, this unit is new, not refurbished, so it carries a full one-year warranty.

Get a loaded HP all-in-one printer for $79.99

Most of the bargain multifunction printers I see are pretty bare-bones. Not today.

TigerDirect has the refurbished HP Photosmart Premium C309G for $79.99, plus around $10 for shipping. What puts the "Premium" in this model? It starts with the screen.

The C309G sports a 3.5-inch color touch screen, which not only previews any photos you want to print, but also serves as the all-in-one's interface. That's just plain awesome, especially when you compare it to the awkward, button-powered menus on my non-touch screen AIO.

Other amenities include Bluetooth and 802.11n Wi-Fi, the latter … Read more
