Thievery in the digital age

I recently got my car stolen from a public parking lot. When I got it back several days later, all the electronics were stolen, along with everything else even remotely valuable. The same day I got it back, a friend of mine told me to check out Craigslist to see if any of my stuff had been listed. This is not the original car that David Hasselhoff drove around in and William Daniels provided the voice for, but it is a 1984 Pontiac Trans Am.

We get it. Luxury cars are branching out into more affordable gadgets with their brand names attached to them.

Venturi, a French company that bills itself as "The Carbon Neutral Company," has a new electric vehicle that can also be powered by nature.

Whenever I see cars like this, my first thought is always...OK, how fast does it go? Politics aside, no one wants to be the guy in the Trabant.
