Dell has begun selling HDTVs from Sony on its Web site alongside its own Dell-branded TVs.

Shoppers looking for 46-inch or 40-inch LCD televisions on Dell's site will be able to purchase Sony's Bravia models. For example, the 40-inch KDL-40V2500 is listed on Dell's site for $2,199, less than it costs on Best Buy's Web site.

TiVo DVR owners will soon be able to watch movies and TV shows purchased or rented from Amazon's Unbox video download service. The new feature, being beta tested by a "select group of TiVo subscribers" according to TiVo's press release, will eventually be rolled out to more than 1.5 million TiVo Series2 and Series3 owners.

Months after our mates at Crave UK got the scoop on its plans, LG is apparently ready to debut a wooden plasma TV. Akihabara News says the company will release a 60-inch model with wood casing on the Korean market in March.

But before you fly to Seoul for bragging rights, be aware that wooden plasmas have been available in Sweden for some time already. If you really want to make a statement, save a tree and get a "Yalos Diamond" LCD for only $130,000.
