Am I the only one who feels that this is long overdue for Nokia? Oh well, better late than never: The Symbian Series 60 has finally gone touch!
At the recent Symbian Smartphone Show held in London, the Finnish company showed off its new S60 touch-screen interface that adds several features to the handheld platform. It includes support for tactile feedback, the ability to run existing S60 apps without modification and detection of motion, orientation, proximity and light, as well as the ability to display Flash videos on the S60 browser.

Google unveiled Google Docs mobile this morning. It's a smaller, lightweight version of Google Docs and Spreadsheets, which lets you browse any stored documents, spreadsheets, or presentations on your mobile phone.
Like the mobile version of their calendaring service, Google has spent a considerable amount of time optimizing Docs for the iPhone--making items larger, and more finger friendly. iPhone users are also the only group who gets mobile access to the freshly launched presentations service, which shows up in thumbnail form with simplistic back-and-forth controls. Both services share a similar lack of editing options, as you can't go … Read more
Nokia unveiled the brand new Nokia N810 early this morning at a press briefing in San Francisco. An updated version of Nokia's previous Internet tablets like the N770 and the N800, the N810 is a pure Internet-only device, relying only on Wi-Fi and cellular Bluetooth to get online. Some of the design improvements include a much sleeker look plus a slide-out keyboard to accompany the touchscreen input, which we welcome wholeheartedly. Another big difference is the integration of built-in maps and GPS, so you don't need to connect to the Internet to find your way around.

If more tech companies were as aggressive as Amosu, we probably wouldn't have nearly as many product launch delays as we do today. The U.K.-based bling meister--which promises to customize pretty much anything in "diamonds, gold or white gold"--has done it again with a diamond encrusted Nokia N95.
And unlike so many "special editions" that number in the tens or even hundreds of thousands, the diamond N95 is limited to just 10 handsets. The specs indicate why: It's made of 18-karat solid gold and festooned with 325 diamonds totaling 3.30 … Read more
Of all the Nokia N series of smart phones, the Nokia N95 is arguably one of the most popular and sought-after models. And why not? Though it has largely sat out the thin phone mania of recent years, Nokia long ago established a reputation for daring cell phone design. Granted, that bold spirit was sometimes a little too bold, but other times it resulted in a lovely product. Nokia's latest entry in the mobile fashion show is the Nokia 7500 Prism. Undeniably unique and unquestionably striking the 7500 is a powerful phone with a broad range of features. On the other hand, call quality wasn't up to par and the unique keypad wasn't terribly user-friendly. For more on the 7500 Prism, check … Read more
