HTC Touch Pro2 coming to T-Mobile on August 12

On Tuesday,T-Mobile answered the prayers of many smartphone fanatics and officially announced the upcoming release of the HTC Touch Pro2 smartphone. The Touch Pro2 will be available starting August 12 and will come in a mocha finish, but pricing was not revealed at press time.

First announced at GSMA 2009 as the successor to the HTC Touch Pro, the Touch Pro2 will finally bring T-Mobile customers a much-needed update to the T-Mobile Wing, which has been in circulation since 2007.

HTC TouchFlo 3D tweaked to hide even more

We've seen the latest iteration of HTC's TouchFlo 3D on the Touch Diamond2 and Pro 2 smartphones. It comes with quite a number of improvements over the last version of HTC's custom interface. Some of them include large menus throughout the Windows Mobile (WM) OS and an enhanced contacts page that integrates text messages, e-mails, and even Facebook updates for each address book entry.

It seems HTC is not quite done with the tweaks, and a future update to TouchFlo 3D has emerged showing further efforts to hide the default WM interface.

Verizon to offer HTC Ozone for just $50

The HTC Snap is making its rounds to the various carriers. First Sprint, then T-Mobile, and now Verizon Wireless.

Rebranded as the HTC Ozone, the Windows Mobile 6.1 smartphone will be available online starting June 29 and in Verizon stores on July 13 for just $49.99 with a two-year contract and after a $70 mail-in rebate. Adobe's Flash to ship on new Android phone

Marking a departure from the world of iPhone, HTC's new Android-based Hero phone will also come with the ability to handle Flash elements that adorn many Web sites and power YouTube video.

Adobe Systems announced on Wednesday that its Flash Player will be built into the HTC phone, an important step in the company's efforts to spread Flash to mobile phones.
