Hitachi Debuts its line of 1.5" thick LCD TVs

There are two schools of thought here at CES; Those who can build the biggest and those who can build the slimmest. Hitachi is in the latter with its achingly thin line of LCD TVs dubbed 1.5. It may be hard to believe for those of us who still actually own a big, old-fashioned tube TV, but a depth of just 6 or 7 inches can actually be considered too bulky for the flat-panel crowd--especially those looking to mount their TV on the wall. PSP Slim and Lite debuts in parts of Asia

Gamers in Singapore who have resisted buying the parallel import models of the PSP Slim and Lite can now finally get their hands on the official local release version of the handheld gaming console starting today. It is expected to retail for S$280 (about $190) and be available in three colors--Piano Black, Ceramic White and Ice Silver. We are still waiting for confirmation from Sony Computer Entertainment Hong Kong on the new PSP's availability in other parts of Asia.

Thin is in. You know it, right? Gear4 knows it, and in response it has released a speaker dock with dimensions that are usually reserved for supermodels--the StreetParty Size 0.
