Crave giveaway: Giant ThunderCats gift package

Thunder is striking this week's giveaway with an all-ThunderCats-all-the-time gift package.

What is ThunderCats? Well, if you have to ask, this giveaway probably isn't for you. If you're a fan of the animated series, you'll be happy to find out the swag bag contains more than 20 ThunderCats action figures, plus a TCats baseball cap and T-shirt (that's a whole lot of ThunderCats paraphernalia).

The swag, worth $300, comes all wrapped up and ready to be, well, unwrapped.

The series--which follows the adventures of a team of catlike humanoid alien heroes from the planet Thundera--debuted in the '80s and recently got reimagined on the Cartoon Network. To celebrate the finale of the series, Warner Bros. rolled out 11 characters and villains in a Facebook app that lets fans transform their photos into their own ThunderCat and share the new feline look with the world.

So how do you try to win this week's prize to add even more ThunderCats to your life? Let me enumerate the basic rules. Please read them carefully; there will be a test. Hoooo! … Read more

Crave giveaway: 'Smart scarf' by designer Diana Eng

Everyone's wrapping themselves in scarves right about now, but this week's prize, a thermochromatic smart scarf, will seriously set you apart from the scarf-wearing masses.

The Jack Frost scarf from self-proclaimed "fashion nerd" designer Diana Eng bears snowflakes that appear and grow larger when temperatures dip below 65 degrees. The more the temp drops, the bigger the snowflakes get. The cotton, machine-washable scarf scarf measures 10x72 inches.

You may remember Eng as a contestant on the reality show "Project Runway" a few years back. Since then, she's continued to design geeky garb and also penned "Fashion Geek: Clothes, Accessories, Tech," a guide to making DIY techno-wear such as jackets with built-in speakers and digital lockets that let you display photos from your digicam, phone, and e-mails. … Read more

Crave giveaway: Garmin GPS unit with Wallace & Gromit voice skin

If you tend to get lost whilst out for walkies wearing the wrong trousers, this week's giveaway could help point you in the right direction. The prize? A Garmin Nuvi 1300 GPS unit and downloadable Wallace & Gromit voice skin. It'll guarantee you a grand day out.

The new voice skin features Wallace and his ever-faithful canine pal Gromit offering turn-by-turn directions such as "Are we nearly there yet?
