AT&T exec: We're 'thrilled' with our cash-cow shared data plans

AT&T executives couldn't be happier with the company's progress in signing up customers to its Mobile Share Plan and its new LTE 4G wireless service, AT&T's head of mobility Ralph de la Vega said on the company's third quarter conference call with investors and analysts on Wednesday.

MegaUpload rises from the dead as Mega

MegaUpload founder Kim DotCom has proven to be unstoppable. After the U.S. government's major takedown of the cloud-storage service, which came with charges of racketeering, copyright infringement, money laundering, and more, DotCom has escaped extradition to the U.S. for now and was given a formal apology by New Zealand's prime minister.

Verizon subscribers give 'Share Everything' plans a boost

Subscribers may have balked at Verizon's Share Everything data plans when they were first introduced this summer, but they seem to be buying into the concept of sharing a single data plan now, according to Verizon CFO Fran Shammo.
