Steve Jobs' biography was only announced a few months ago and it already has a new title.

"iSteve: The Book of Jobs," the first authorized biography of the Apple co-founder and chief executive, has been rechristened simply "Steve Jobs." The book, which was announced in April and is due to be published next year by Simon & Schuster, is being penned by biographer Walter Isaacson from interviews with Jobs, family members, and colleagues. Steve Jobs authorized biography due next year

Steve Jobs has reportedly been participating on a biography about his life to be published next year.

Apple's chief executive has been working with Simon & Schuster biographer Walter Isaacson on "iSteve: The Book of Jobs," which is expected to be published in early 2012, according to an Associated Press report. Isaacson has been working on the book since 2009 and has interviewed Jobs, family members, and colleagues for the book, according to the report.

A new peek at what makes Jobs tick

The famously private Steve Jobs is apparently ready to tell the world what it's like being Steve Jobs.

According to a report in The New York Times Monday, Jobs is cooperating with a book to be written about his life and career. It will be penned by Walter Isaacson, former managing editor of Time magazine, who currently runs a nonprofit. The report says Isaacson has, in the course of collecting material for the biography, been invited for a tour of the house where Jobs grew up.
