Seagate GoFlex TV: Compelling option for file hoarders
Last year we reviewed Seagate's FreeAgent Theater+ Media Player and generally liked what we saw, particularly the device's ability to play back most file formats. Seagate just launched the newest version of its HD digital media player and has generously offered to give one away to a lucky Crave reader. Seagate ships world's first 3TB external drive
Seagate's new superflexible external-hard-drive family just got a new member, and it's a significant upgrade.
The company announced Tuesday the latest addition to its FreeAgent GoFlex line: an desktop external hard drive called the 3TB GoFlex Desk that offers 3TB of storage.
Like other drives in the GoFlex line, the new 3TB GoFlex Desk comes with the flexibility to adapt its standard USB 2.0 interface to a USB 3.0 or FireWire 800 connection just by changing the adapter.
