So, the Porsche 911 (nee 901, but thanks to Peugeot that was swiftly changed) was launched at the Frankfurt auto show in 1963. Since then much has changed -- the Berlin wall has fallen, David Frost took down Nixon in the most public way imaginable, they stopped making Twinkies, "Arrested Development" stopped being funny, and they started making Twinkies again. But the 911, it's not changed per se, it's simply evolved.
