Classic cars cruise Pebble Beach

The Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance event Sunday featured dozens of decades-old cars in pristine condition in a competition and show that's been held since 1950 at the prestigious golf course near Monterey, Calif.

The show draws thousands of attendees, who also get to see a number of cutting-edge concept cars. Here, though, is a look at some of the historic models.

T-Mobile's MyTouch lands in San Francisco

T-Mobile on Wednesday threw a coming out party for its new Google Android-based phone, the MyTouch, with great fanfare. The celebration included skydivers, celebrity impersonators, and yes, even mimes. Here are a few of the more artistic photos from the event.

When one member of Oth (pronounced zero-th), a San Francisco-based band, decided to move to New York, members came up with a novel idea to keep the band together. They use Skype's Internet-based phone service to see and hear each other--and their audience--and overcome the thousands of miles between them. Celebrating creativity through fire and light

Now in its ninth fiery year, the Fire Arts Festival is an innovative fundraiser for an industrial arts education nonprofit called The Crucible, a community that promotes creative expression and the reuse of materials.
