Best Buy's deal isn't limited to the 40-inch model; the company offers other Blu-ray bundling deals on Samsung 46- and 52-inch LCD TVs, as well as a 46-inch 120Hz LCD HDTV.

Buy.com has the iRiver H10 5GB MP3 player (refurbished) for $33.99 with free shipping. The player works with Windows Media Player 10 and supports MP3 and WMA, as well as Secure WMA for online downloads and services.

The iRiver H10 is supersleek at 3.7 by 2.1 by 0.6 inches and 3.4 ounces. This model is a few years old but still has a 1.5-inch color LCD screen for viewing photos and a swappable battery that the company claims delivers about 12 hours of continuous listening.

When you get tired of listening to the same albums over and over again, you can switch to the FM tuner, which features 20 autoscannable presets. It also sports an integrated voice recorder with FM recording capabilities.

A CNET reviewer gave this model a rating of "very good" back in 2005, saying that the "iRiver H10 truly outclasses the competition in the features department...however, its controls aren't as intuitive as they look, and battery life was disappointing."

It's available only in Trance Red at this price. No word on how long Buy.com will be offering this deal, so if it sounds good, act fast.

This Sunday we have a pair of old-school Netbook deals for you.

First up is a 10.1-inch Acer Aspire One with a 1.6GHz Atom processor at Target for $199. It's listed at $289.99, but the price drops to $199 when you add it to your shopping cart. That's a savings of 28 percent.

It comes with a 160GB hard drive, 1GB of RAM (expandable to 2GB), 802.11g, an Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950, a three-cell Lithium ion battery, and a built-in Webcam. This Netbook runs Windows XP Home (for those of you who are quite happy with XP, shied away from Vista, and not ready for Windows 7).

So what so old school about this deal? No rebates, no coupons, no secret handshakes, no hoops to jump through. Also, no shipping--meaning you gotta head to your nearest Target store and pick it up.

Besides the no-shipping, there's one potential drawback. At this price, it's available in only one color: blue. But at a price less than $200, you could probably put up with any color.

If the color is an issue, Best Buy has the 10.1-inch Gateway LT2005u for $230. It comes with the same 1.6GHz Atom processor, a 160GB hard drive, 1GB of RAM, 802.11g wireless, an Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950, Webcam, and Windows XP Home.

So what's better about this model? It's in "NightSky Black" and comes with a six-cell Lithium ion battery. Is that worth $30 more? That's up to you to decide. But you can also have it shipped, which adds $12 to the deal, but you can opt to pick it up at your local Best Buy if you want to have it now and avoid the shipping costs.

Sony's 46-inch KDL-46V5100

If you had been waiting for a low price on a midlevel LCD to make the jump to a flat-panel set, Sony may have what you are looking for.

Sony Style has a refurbished 46-inch KDL-46V5100 for $799.99 with free shipping, a good $150 cheaper than the closest low price for a new unit. This 1080p (full HD) unit has a 120Hz refresh rate and a dynamic contrast ratio of 50,000 to 1. This TV comes with plenty of connectivity, featuring four HDMI inputs, two component video inputs, and one PC input.

CNET's David Katzmaier gave this TV three and a half stars, saying that while its design was a bit pedestrian, it produces relatively deep black levels and accurate color in bright areas. "The commendable picture quality of Sony's entry-level 120Hz-equipped LCD makes it a very good value," Katzmaier wrote in his review.

The model is listed on the site at $1,379.99 but the price drops to $799.99 when you add it to your cart. It comes with a 90-day warranty.

The Toshiba Satellite L455-S5980.

If you are in the market for an inexpensive laptop to make the jump to Windows 7, we may have just what you're looking for.

Office Depot has the Toshiba Satellite L455-S5980 15.6-inch widescreen notebook for $349.99 with free shipping, $130 off the list price and a good $100 cheaper than the closest deal we could find for this model.

Toshiba's laptop features an Intel 1.8GHz dual-core Celeron T3000, 2GB of RAM, a 250GB 5400 rpm SATA hard drive, a SuperMulti DVD drive, 802.11g Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and Windows 7 Home Premium.

The deal includes a one-year warranty and expires Saturday.

With Veterans Day approaching this week, Amazon is giving away a collection of songs to honor the brave men and women who have served in the U.S. armed forces.

The e-tailer's MP3 store is offering for free download "Veterans Day Honor" by the bands and ensembles of the U.S. armed forces, a DRM-free collection of patriotic music that usually retails for $8.99 on the site ($9.99 on iTunes).

Last Sunday, we told you about a great but brief deal for those of you building or overhauling your home theater set-up. Today's deal contributes to that theme, adding floorstanding, two-way speakers to flank the center channel and boost the surround sound experience. The offer will also stick around a little longer for those who may not read this right away.

Newegg lists the Polk Audio Monitor 60 Black (Single) for $150, a savings of 50 percent off its "original" price. But shoppers can get an additional $37 off by using this promo code--EMCMLMT36--for a final cost of $112.99, a savings of more than 60 percent. In addition, shipping is free.

The speaker features three 5.25-inch midrange drivers made of a bi-laminate composite and a 1-inch tweeter made of a fabric/polymer composite. This speaker can handle up to 200 watts and has a frequency response of 38Hz to 25,000Hz.

CNET hasn't reviewed this particular speaker, but Amazon buyers gave it 4.5 stars out of 5 stars. (Indeed, none of the 20 reviews on the site gave it fewer than 4 stars.) Many reviewers cited value as contributing to their experience, but note that Amazon lists this item for $179.90 plus $25 shipping.

Here's a deal that's sure to sound good.

A strong center channel is key to the home entertainment set-up, responsible for delivering the bulk of movie dialogue as well as the tunes for music-centric programming. For those who want big sound for a small price, Newegg has the Polk Audio CS1 Black Center Channel Loudspeaker for $66.99, a savings of $133 off the list price of $199, or 66 percent.

This two-way passive speaker features two 5.25-inch midrange cone drivers made from a bi-laminate composite and a 1-inch tweeter made of fabric/polymer composite, delivering a maximum power output of 125 watts and a frequency response of 55Hz to 25,000Hz.

CNET's Steve Guttenberg said in a review that the nonresonant 0.75-inch-thick medium-density fiberboard cabinet construction is nice and solid and that the internal crossover uses high-quality parts. The heavy-duty, five-way binding posts cheerfully accept banana jacks, bare wire, or spade connectors.

Guttenberg gave this center channel a rating of "very good," noting that it may be too large for some tastes but sounded good with both movies and music. CNET readers gave it a rating of four and a half stars out of a possible five-star rating.
