Nike is adding headgear to its ever-growing list of gadgetry. You can keep your ears warm and filled with music with the Nike Performance Hatphones.

Yes, you guessed it--a cozy skullcap with a pocket for your iPod Nano. The controls and built-in headphones easily adjust to fit your ears, just in time for those cold winter runs. For $60, I think I would rather buy some new music and wear my old woolly hat and headphones, but I am sure someone will buy one.

If you love to run or workout with your ipod and have it strapped somewhere to your body, it is always a hassle to unstrap it and change songs and control the volume. Well Timex known for their ironman sports watches has come out with a watch that can control your ipod.

The iControl watch transmits signals seamlessly to your iPod so you can control your music in a heartbeat. Change songs and volume without breaking stride, the watch lets your pause and also has forward and reverse functions.

The iControl is also water resistant, you might want to think twice about that if you are intending to go for a little swim make sure your ipod is not in your pocket !!! It also has 2 interval timers, a count down timer, three alarms and oh yeah it tells the time as well.

Designed to work with your body and coordinate with your iPod, the iControl watch is sleek and comfortable to wear - with all the features you need for running around the track or traveling around the world.

Waterproof ipod shuffle !!!!

by Dave Phillips
  • Post a comment

Swimman has created the only waterproof ipod. By using swimman's waterproof technology they have taken the new ipod shuffle and turned it to the ultimate all-environment accessory.

The shuffle is packaged in it's original packaging but swimman has added it's waterproofing technology and a set of waterproof headphones. This gives you the ability to take your music with you for an ocean swim or a few laps in the pool.

It is a neat idea but not exactly cheap, they take a basic shuffle for $79.00 add $100.00 for waterproofing and then add a waterproof headset for another $100.00. The price of having your tunes go anywhere with you is $279.00, but for those distance swimmers that is a small price to pay for some submerged motivation. Check it out at www.swimman.com
