In an unexpected move, AOL has acquired social-networking site Bebo for $850 million in cash. CNET News.com's Caroline McCarthy and Charles Cooper talk with Leslie Katz about whether the deal can save AOL.

It looks like a lot has changed between Microsoft and Yahoo, which haven't exactly been on speaking terms since Microsoft made an unsolicited bid for Yahoo on February 1. But now, a source familiar with the talks says the two companies are holding informal merger discussions.

Plus, despite the softening real estate market and record foreclosure rates, search sites for home buyers continue to pop up and thrive.
