The C2 has a 15-foot range, and the lithium power magazine can provide up to 50 jolts. An integrated LED light is included to help users see into the shadows before firing, and a trigger safety cover is provided to help prevent accidental activation. Because accessorizing is important for any consumer product, the stun gun comes in four colors: black pearl, titanium silver, metallic pink and, yes, electric blue.
The company got the starting price down to $299 by cutting out many of the features of Taser models for law enforcement use, such as dataport management, digital displays and the Taser Cam interface. The C2 is expected to be available in April.
