The back of the steerable antenna. It electrically steers the signals between distant access points. Things like trees, buildings and a shift in the foundation of an antenna tower can throw the system off, so the beam needs to be steered. A lot of the ideas behind the steerable antenna come from an Intel lab in Russia.
