Fat Spaniel provides energy monitors for homes with solar panels, starting at around $1,000. The San Jose, Calif., company's systems are used to show the states of solar panels at the San Francisco International Airport and Jay Leno's Green Garage.

This interface comes from Queens Botanical Garden in New York City as part of a custom-designed Web site that shows data about landscaping designed to encourage water drainage as well as geothermal power.
