A low-tech way to use solar technology. This SunMate space heating system from Environmental Solar System is made up of a panel that gets hot in the sun. A fan on an inside wall pulls that hot air into the house while pulling more air into the collector from inside. These systems are not widely used but they can benefit from state incentives for renewable energy. A solar space heater from Sunsiaray can heat hot water during summer months.
