The company that developed this solar concentrator, Soliant Energy, actually had its product behind a curtain to prevent copycats. It's the fourth generation of its product, expected to be completed one year from now.
Unlike concentrators for large utility solar power plants, this product is designed specifically for corporate rooftops. Because it has a lot of electricity output compared with flat panels, the company expects to install these in places where space is a premium and there's appropriate light.
