Water passing through this coil of pipe at the dish's focus boils instantly.

Solar arrays made of these dishes could potentially provide steam for industrial processing, heat or cool buildings, or generate electricity via steam turbines. Ultimately, the RawSolar team predicts, mass-produced arrays will pay for themselves within a couple of years.
