Photos: MIT Energy Conference talks money, coal, and 'Enertech'

At the MIT Energy Conference, MIT and Germany's Fraunhofer Institute announced the creation of the Center for Sustainable Energy Systems to do research on advanced solar modules and building energy efficiency. It will have initial funding of $6 million--$5 million from the Massachusetts Technology Collaborative state agency and $1 million from utility National Grid.
