Mercedes stops at hydrogen refueling station

The moment everyone has been waiting for: a fuel cell car from Mercedes pulls up to the first hydrogen refueling station in Massachusetts. The unveiling was part of the Hydrogen Road Tour, a cross-country trip to promote hydrogen-powered vehicles which started in Portland, Maine, on Monday and made its first stop in Billerica, Mass.

The two-week event will make 31 stops in 18 states to let the public and policy makers see fuel-cell vehicles in action. It's sponsored by nine automakers, the U.S. Department of Transportation, Department of Energy, California Fuel Cell Partnership, and the National Hydrogen Association.
