Here's a man who needs few introductions. George Clooney is the proud owner of an early model coming from one of the X Prize participants. Commuter Cars delivered its first model T600 to him in 2005.
Now the company is working on an all-electric commuter car called Tango. Spokane, Wash.-based Commuter Cars says the Tango's narrow width (it's 5 inches trimmer than a Honda Gold Wing motorcycle) allows it to fit in half a car lane, giving it more maneuverability than a regular car. With Tango, the company says it is attempting to combine the agility of a motorcycle with the safety and comforts of a regular car.
