One such company is CafePress.com, which manufactures T-shirts, coffee mugs, caps, clocks, and more for users who have uploaded their own designs. Here at the company's production facility near Worldport is a clock that CafePress.com made for a customer. It has square roots for numbers.
But UPS also helps other companies handle day-to-day logistics.
Ikon and Toshiba, for example, have both turned over big parts of their operations to UPS. For Ikon, UPS handles parts distribution for the entire U.S. For Toshiba, it actually performs most of the repairs on the manufacturer's laptops.
