One of the first things you see when you walk into the Corvette assembly plant is racks of rear panels. They've gone through their paint job, and workers are examining them for any kinds of defects, such as dirt that has gotten into the paint or any kinds of scuffs. If they find such defects, they try to fix them, but if they can't, they send them back to the paint shop for another go-round.
