This view from September 2000 shows a growing space station. In the foreground is the unmanned Progress supply vehicle, connected to the Zvezda service module--the third component, which had been attached in July of that year. Over the last decade, there have been 30 resupply flights by Russia's Progress spacecraft to the space station, also known as ISS. According to NASA's record-keeping, there have also been 20 other Russian trips (mostly Soyuz crew flights) and 27 U.S. space shuttle flights.
