The Kibo lab (center left) is attached to the Harmony node, which had been installed in October 2007. The Columbus laboratory (center right) was installed in February 2008. At the top of the structure from this angle are the Canadian-built Dextre dual-armed robotic manipulator and a pair of Russian vessels that have docked with the ISS.

As of mid-November 2008, the space station had more than 660,000 pounds of mass and more than 12,600 cubic feet of habitable volume.
