Friday's event was an odd mixture of Moffett Field nostalgia and excitement over the start-up nature of Airship Ventures and its Eureka.
Here, Eureka stands behind a large poster of historical photographs, placed on the tarmac, of the original zeppelins based at Moffett Field.
In the lower-right corner of the poster is an image of the zeppelin Macon entering Moffett's massive Hangar 1, which was built--and opened in 1933--to house the 785-foot-long airship.
